Maintenance P.motaguense

Bonsoir à tous,

Je craque sur le P.motaguense.

J'envisagerai d'en maintenir. Or il semblerait qu'il faille un bac de 3m de façade pour imaginer le maintenir avec d'autres espèces au vu de son agressivité.

Quelle serait alors la taille minimale pour une maintenance en spé. Un bac de 2m de façade suffirait-il?

Qu'est ce qu'un bac de 40 cm de hauteur serait suffisant dans le cadre d'une maintenance en spé?

Si tu penses à un bac de 2m de façade, 40cm de haut et 20cm de profondeur... je pense que la réponse est non  

 

Salut Eric, dans un premier temps possible MAIS par la suite comme d'hab il faudra plus grand même en spé!!!

I have my wildcatch pair of Motaguensis Rio Copan in a 2m x 1m deep x 60 high. they are swimming together with Hogaboomorum and Fenestratus Rio Antigua and the combination is really great ! 
I think if you will keep them smaller you will have problems. 

My pair is around the 25cm now.

En fait je pensais à 200x40x10 bref plié en 2 voire 3 quoi

Thanks for the answer but I was wondering to let them alone, just a pair because of their aggressivity... with 40cm water level...

The male would kill the female?

Indeed, when my pair have lost there youngsters the male will always kill the female. but with the other agressief fish in the tank with them he dont have the space to go after her.

Quite usual for cichlids...i was a bit afraid about that...i gonna see after...
