Bruce South corner.

As you all know i am a big keeper of centrale fish.
But now i have the feeling i have to go for something new.
I still will keep all my centrale fish and i also will breed with them but now i have set some steps in south amerika.

The follow fish will come in.

Caquetaia umbriferum
Cichla monoculus
Heroina isonycterina
Hypselecara temporalis
Geophagus pellegrini

I have already 1 specie of South america and it is
geophagus steindachneri wild catch of columbia.





I also have a group of 20 Corydoras leucomelas
10 Gasteropelecus maculatus
20 Nematobrycon palmeri

New tanks ;-).
The most of them will have a tank for them alone !

NOt a tank ... a swimming pool ! Cichla, Caquetaia ... 50 cm and perhaps more.

I think that the umbriferum are to much agressiv for the Cichla (and other fish ). I think you can put them with trimaculatum and dovii in a big tank

I never will keep centrale fish with south fish ;-) .
I know the fish and i know what they need !

Maculicauda too. He had Cichla and has perhaps now ... We know that you hav an experience with Cichlids it's more for other people who that is possible. It's not possible for everybody. It's extreme fish, with extreme condition of mainenance. But it's good news to know that some hobbyist will have them. Waiting now for pictures and film ... Do you have your fish from Jeff or Christian ?
