260x75x65 AMC

Hello French people.
I am Ersin (Keyser Söze) from the Netherlands.
I am here to share pictures of my aquarium project with you.
Last January I started this project.

My aquarium dimensions are 260x75x60.
The filtration is a sump of 120x50x40 with a 30W 3500 l/h pump.
I have also an external eheim 2080 pump.
The aquarium is illuminated by 4 10W 6500K led spots, a 36W 1200K LED bar and a 54W T5.

A couple Vieja melanurus 'Blue spotted'
5 Vieja heterospila
Two couples Thorichthys aureus 'Rio Sarstun'
One couple Thorichthys meeki
Few Xiphophorus helleri
6 Pimelodus pictus

Thank you. I had no sufficient lights at that moment. The design has a little bit changed over the time. I will post up to date pictures soon!
The parents of my heterospila were I thought imported from Rapps.

Rapps has indeed beautiful fishes but I never order from him yet.
With the forum's members/friends we order a couple of time from Cichlids of the Americas.

In the Netherlands some enthousiast did many orders from Rapps and Conkel. The last years there were unfortunately no orders from here. I heard many positive things about Cichlids of the Americas.

Nice tank and fish and really good work to doin that.

About your problem of light, think you need to change your spot and install led like t5.

In the beginning I had only a led bar. Because I started my aquarium before I received all parts of the lights such as adapters and dimmers.
At this moment I have a combination of a led bar, spots and a t5. That is more than enough light for me. I will post a recent video of my tank, where you can see that there is sufficient light.

That's a big compliment, I am a fan of Lee Nutalls tanks and his view on Central American cichlids! We call that woord kienhout here. At this moment I have very little wood in my tank. Because wood gives such a mess. I do like very clear water.
